Newsflash!! Regional Areas and Regional Centres are not we expected!

On 13 November 2019, the Australian government release a legislative instrument which define what is considered 'Regional areas' and what is considered 'Regional Centres'. And guess what!! It is totally different to intended definition when the earlier legislative instrument related to Skilled Regional Temporary visa subclass 491 was released. In that legislative instrument, regional area was intended to be 'the whole Australia except Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth' and at that time it made it appeared to be no limitation on postcode.

However, it is not the case! But, the government kept their promised to include Gold Coast as one of the 'regional centres'. Below is a copy of the postcode referencing the legislative instrument F2019L01446 the recent released legislation instrument limit.
